Esclavoconsumista is the independent art studio of Xicano artist Mark Scala, based in Mérida, Yucatán, México. Rooted in Maya cosmology and an anti-consumerist philosophy — la ropa que usas también te usa — the studio creates bilingual, confrontational fine art, wearable art, murals, mosaics, merch drops, and phygital experiences that blend physical and digital worlds.
